A Partial Teaching on Carrying Out Life Task by The Atma
During the course of the conversation between GOD and the Atma prior to entering Janam, GOD says, “If you will carry out a Task for me, then at the end of your passage through life, I will pick you up and place you in front of the Gate of the Path which leads to Salvation.”
The Atma promises
To complete a Task for PARAMATMA during Janam.
- The Soul is permitted to carry out the accepted Life Task at any point of time of his or her choice while in residence in his or her physical body.
- At any place of his or her choice in the physical universe.
- According to the manner that he or she may decide.
The Consideration In Return
In This Process
Once the agreement is made:
- GOD does not interfere or offer any help et cetera to the Soul during its passage through life.
- In case of any interference from elsewhere, HE does not offer or provide any help.
Should PARAMATMA Help or Offer any Help?
The Atma could claim the promised consideration from GOD without actually having carried out his or her Life Task.
The Atma could claim that the Life Task is complete on the basis of “completion by interference”.
GOD cannot afford to let this happen, therefore HE will not interfere in the life of any Soul in the physical universe in any way, shape, or manner.
The Life Task is central to the entire purpose of the Atma in his or her journey through Janam.
Completion of one Life Task leads to one of the five Janams being successful on the Path to Moksha.
Discovering And Carrying Out The Life Task During Janam
The process of discovering the Life Task is important.
The Life Task can only be carried out if and when the Soul is able to convey it to the body+mind given to it.
Society makes sure that no Atma is allowed to retain control over the body+mind given to it.
Atma knows his or her Life Task.
Thus, the Atma is unable to communicate her Life Task to the given body+mind.
Every Atma is capable of completing the Life Task once it has been discovered during the available opportunity (Janam).
Soul is given as many opportunities as may be needed to carry out one Life Task.
Atma (through the given body+mind) is required to complete each individual Life Task sequentially before progressing to the next.
The Soul can communicate with the body+mind through its own internal filaments of control.
These filaments of control are available to the Atma as long as that body+mind has not committed any sin.
Once the second sin is committed by the body+mind, the Soul loses its ability to communicate with the given body+mind.
The Atma does not control the body+mind any longer.
The Life Task can only be carried out by using the body+mind, which the Soul cannot inform.
Therefore, at puberty, it becomes the responsibility of the body+mind to carry out the Life Task of the Soul resident within.
It is the duty of the intelligence to give control over itself and the body to the Atma at the earliest.
The intelligence must worship through submit and surrender to The Teacher in Incarnation.
The body+mind is to decide the place, the manner and the time of carrying out the Life Task.
Successful completion of the Life Task in a Janam completes one part out of Five Tasks.
