The Teachings
A Partial Teaching on Who am I?
Discourse
The Atma having passed through the Joonis becomes pure and clean again and earns the right to be given another opportunity to receive a body to carry out the Life Task and move forward on the Path of Salvation.
Life Task has to be carried out within the given specified number of breaths also known as Time in Janam.
The Atma agrees to carry out the Life Task during Janam.
During the interaction with GOD, the Atma is given three opportunities to make requests connected with the coming Janam.
The Atma is given The DIVINE TEACHINGS to enable The Atma to carry out the life Task and move forward on the Path of Salvation.
The Atma is given a specific body+mind by being placed in that biologically active foetus the womb of the mother.
The foetus becomes alive once the Atma is placed in that foetus and wants to know who am I?.
Thereafter, with the passage of time, that child is delivered into the hands of society.
Society, starting with parents, family, extended family and the society at large starts corrupting the little person from day one and by the end of thirteenth year of existence have covered and isolated the Atma with a thick crust within that given specific body+mind.
In this process, society makes the little person become self-centered, self-seeking and selfish and no longer capable of receiving any inputs from the Atma – isolated and locked inside the body+mind given to her.
The Soul would have/ has already built up a huge bundle of expectations by way of imagining herself or himself to be gifted and chosen whereas the reality is quite different.
Atma becomes disturbed and agitated inside her isolation and creates a storm inside the body+mind.
At times due to this internal or external disturbance it may cause a spiritual re-examination leading that person to pose a question – ‘Who am I?’
Such a question can be simply answered by saying you are living a life without meaning or substance.
It is only when such a person decides to move out of his or her zone of ignorance onto the hard path of seeking and then to working towards Salvation shall his or her life acquire meaning and significance.
Then, that person may be known as a child for a child is curious, inquisitive, learning and growing which are the attributes of a person moving on the Path towards Salvation.
As and when I come to know and realize that I am not perfect and accept that I know that I am not perfect, then I will begin to start learning.
